Building our future togetherLocated in Central Minnesota, Little Falls Township is home to nearly 2,000 residents. Little Falls Township is surrounded with beauty with The Platte River Hiking Trail offering a scenic 3.5-mile hike that leads the visitor along the banks of the Platte River to the edge of Rice Lake providing recreational opportunities. Crane Meadows National Life Refuge is also located in The Little Falls Township which was established in 1992 to protect and restore wetlands and enhance waterfowl and other migratory bird habitat. Visitors are invited to experience the Refuge.
On the Western boundary of Little Falls Township lies the Mississippi River and all of its attributes and history. Little Falls Township also has access to the multi-use Soo Line Trail in its Southeast corner. We encourage visitors and residents to enjoy the sites and sounds of our Township. |
