A Comprehensive Plan states the goals, policies, and standards, which guide a township in its growth and development. The comprehensive plan is the primary planning document for a community and is the plan on which all related ordinances are based, including zoning ordinances and subdivision regulations. In Little Falls Township’s case, Morrison County provides for current zoning administration. Little Falls Township relinquished planning and zoning jurisdiction to Morrison County in approximately 1998. However, the Township does intend to use this living document to state the Township’s Goals, Policies, and Standards for future growth and development.
Research conducted for the Comprehensive Plan included a survey completed by Township residents. Click the button below to view the results of this survey.
